OPEN: a photograph of any subject treated pictorially. A pictorial treatment is one embodying the elements of good design, arrangement or composition and which reflect the interpretation of the photographer. OLD & NEW DIPTYCH: an image showing something old and its modern counterpart in natural surroundings, eg old building sandwiched between two skyscrapers or a bus passing a stage coach, DIPTYCH: in photographic presentation a pair of pictures are often put together in the same actual image. As a format, one image file with two pictures is a diptych.
